Established in 1977, our school is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, State Board of Private and Academic Schools. We are an early childhood development center and an elementary school. Classes offered are Nursery through Sixth Grade.

The goals of our school are four-fold. First, we focus on helping each child develop a love for learning. Second, we provide a learning environment and a curriculum that develop intellectual skills. Third, we strive to help children develop a social awareness that will enable them to work and play with others. And fourth, we encourage the acceptance of responsibility. In essence, our goal is to have each student develop into a well-rounded, self sufficient, individual, and to be the best student he/she can be.

The Learning Process

The Learning Process

On the nursery level, the school day is a balance between learning and fun. The students work with their teacher on learning skills in pre-reading and pre-math as they are ready. Our teachers add to the learning process basic science, and social studies activities that promote learning in an interesting way. Every day includes art, music, physical activities to promote strong gross motor skills and free play time. All activities throughout the nursery session are supervised by staff.

In kindergarten, students progress at their degree of readiness into academic skills that include reading, math, science, social studies, and handwriting. There is still a good balance between learning and playtime. Kindergarten students also have special teachers on a weekly basis for art, music, physical education, library, French and computer skills.

On the elementary level, our students continue to progress at their degree of readiness. Students who need more time to develop skills before moving on to new material are given that time. All students follow definite schedules and curriculum to guide their learning.

In the 4th, 5th and 6th grades our students are taught using the team teaching concept. That is, each of our teachers has certain areas of expertise, and teaches the subjects in which they have that expertise.

Our students change classes throughout the day instead of being taught in a self-contained classroom. Therefore, they are exposed to the structure of most middle schools, and have the added benefit of being taught by teachers who have expertise in specific areas of study.
